Michael R. Nicholas, C.P.A.
PRINCIPAL

Michael Nicholas has over 20 years of accounting and auditing experience in the public and private sectors. He joined George Johnson & Company in 1986 and has been a Principal since 1994.

As a Principal, Mike is responsible for managing all facets of audits, reviews, and compilations for the Firm’s major clients. This includes scheduling and supervising audits of employee benefit plans, private foundations, and non-profits, including audits in compliance with Government Auditing Standards and the provisions of OMB Circular A-133. Mike also maintains the Firm’s quality control standards.

Mike graduated from Michigan State University in 1985 with a B.A. in Accounting. His professional affiliations include the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants. He also serves on the Financial Review Committee of United Way for Southeastern Michigan in Detroit.
